Description: [Incident Report Regarding Subdirective Break]

Note: Due to the volatile nature of this document. It is for Dal Quori eyes only. We must maintain the operating veil to keep the constructs in line until Project CONSTRUCT SUNSET reaches stable function. - Gre-4 - People’s Representative of Coriolis.

RK - Long Range Sniper

JB - "Pathmaker"

HG - Squad Leader

Action Report:

• Squad designated 3 primary progressive at time T=0:
• Units pushed into settlement, Target 1 dispatched and mask shattered by Sapient: XL.
• Target 2 exchanged fire with Sapient: PL, due to damage sustained during previous fight, Sapient: PL was forcefully decommissioned.
• Target 2 shouted at remaining units: “THIS IS FOR [REDACTED] I will spare you this - 7
• Target 2 dispatched by long distance fire by Sapient: RK. Mask shattered by Sapient: NB.
• Target 3 was found hiding in the house closet holding what appeared as a homemade scrapbook. Due to their age it seems they were hidden by Target 2 to avoid extermination. Target dispatched and mask shattered by Sapient: HG.

Incident Report:

• Upon initial review of progressive settlement, present Units inspected the scrapbook, noting it as full of crude children’s drawings and quori consumer grade polaroids.
• Sapient RK, Sapient JB, and Sapient NB regroup with squad inside.
• The constructs made banter passing around the scrapbook. “Wow look at these progressives thinking they can play family.” - Sapient HG
• No reaction is displayed by units as they look into the scrapbook until it reaches Sapient: RK. Who immediately reboots.
• Upon reboot, Sapient: RK displayed a primal rage uncharacteristic of his usual self attacking his squad.
• Sapient: HG informed the local Cai Submind of a potential directive break in progress.
• Sapient: RK is reported as having ripped Sapient: NB’s totem out with his bare hands.
• Sapient: RK is overridden by local CAI submind and shut down.

Upon review of RK’s directive break, the source of this break seemed to be an emotional response tied to the progressives exterminated in that home. Their significance to RK is unknown but if I were to speculate, the source soul of Sapient: RK may have recognized these vermin. These memories have been wiped from all squad members as to prevent potential reinforcement in future directive break.

Post Report:

Sapient: RK shows increased interest in artificing and unionification since the incident. I have recommended their frame for Project CONSTRUCT SUNSET as a potential alternative to decommissioning due to their continued success as a long distance sniper. Will update this log with relevant details.
